Junk on Display
My family believes there are no "set" rules when it comes to decorating. Mixing it up, throwin' some junk in with a display in your home, gives it a one of a kind look. And least we not forget about reusing and recycling. Above is a picture of one of my spaces at Country Roads. I like how all the "junk on display" looks together. Stop by and see what other kinds of recycled treasures you can find!

Random Salvage
These are just a few pictures taken last week of some random salvage and stuff I have in the store. I need to organize it better, but at least you get a peek! Above is an old gas sign I came across. Of course I was first attracted to the rust!! Here is a shot of some doors and gates I have at the store right now. Old galvantized chicken feeders can be used for many different things. I have several of these right now. If there is something you are looking for just post a comment here. And hey, post a comment anyway just to let me know you stopped by!

I Love Salvage, What Can I Say?
I grew up in this business of "junk" even though it has a name, Country Roads. When my mom opened the store I was about eight or nine years old. When my oldest sister, Brande, was old enough to drive, we would go to Vet's Flea Market. She would always have me ask the vendors if they could do better because they thought I was so cute! I would say, very sadly when I asked, "but I only have $10 and I REALLY like that, are you sure you can't do any better". Most of the time my routine would work! I've always loved demo work because it meant ripping out the "old" for the new. You come across such cool stuff in this business. I've always got a bunch of doors and windows in the store if that's what you are looking for. And of course there are other salvage pieces as well. Lookin' for something special, just let me know! I'll be back with some more current photos, and what can I say accept "welcome to Jackson & Son Salvage!
